CLWF Memorial Tournament

The Chris Letendre Wellness Foundation Memorial Lacrosse Tournament was created from a desire to bring the lacrosse community together while promoting mental wellness in sport. What began as a conversation about honouring Chris Letendre and continuing his legacy has grown into something meaningful for our community.

After the Chris Letendre Wellness Foundation was officially approved as a Not-for-Profit, the next step was to build partnerships that align with our mission of supporting mental health awareness. Through those efforts, we were able to connect with organizations like CMHA and Talk Today, who share the same commitment to mental wellness.

With those pieces coming together, the idea of hosting a memorial lacrosse tournament quickly became the perfect way to combine community, sport, and advocacy. Lacrosse has always been about more than just the game — it’s about family, support, and looking out for one another.

The tournament was formed to honour Chris, bring people together, and continue important conversations around mental health while doing something the community loves: playing lacrosse.

3rd Annual Memorial Tournament

Hello Everyone

The Date has been set. The Sept 11th, 2026 weekend at the Beaumont Rec Centre will be home to the Third Annual Chris Letendre Memorial Lacrosse Tournament.

Team Registration forms will be sent to last years teams in the coming month.

Last year we had 8 teams and the Warriors won the Trophy, whos coming and gonna try to tame the MOOSE.

UPDATE:

This year the CLWF will be hosting the third annual Chris Letendre Lacrosse Tournament on September 11th, 12th and 13th, 2026 all games will be played at the Beaumont Recreation Centre. One of the reasons this tournament has been a success is due to our Volunteers and this year we are asking if anyone is interested or available to Volunteer for the tournament. We will be breaking all positions into shifts pending how many Volunteers we get. The positions are 50/50, Beer Garden, Raffle table and swag table along with score clock. Hello Everyone

Welcome to the 3rd annual Chris Letendre Memorial Lacrosse Tournament, this year we are pleased to welcome 8 teams this year.

The Tournament starts Friday Sept 11,2026 at 6pm

Tournament runs Friday Sept 11 Saturday Sept12 and finishes on Sunday Sept 13,2026

All Games are being played at the Beaumont Rec Centre

Come on out to see which team can tame the MOOSE this year

Just a couple things:

1. With 8 teams each team will be guaranteed 5 games.

2. We are adding an exciting feature this year we are doing a skills competition, Accuracy and Hardest shot each team will 2 players per event.

3. There is going to be 50/50 (one per day) Drawn at the Third Period of the last game of the day, raffle table, Beer Gardens, will be accepting Cash or Debit Card only.

6 days before the first face off for the 3rd Chris Letendre Memorial Lacrosse Tournament. Swag has been ordered, Referees have been secured, New Jerseys are in and the Teams are confirmed. Friday Sept 11,2026 at 6pm at the Beaumont Rec Centre is the start of the tournament. We will have raffle tables, beer gardens 50/50 and great atmosphere and wicked lacrosse games.

Hello Everyone

Wow, words can not express the love and happiness that I am feeling today going through all these photos and the memories from the 2nd annual Chris Letendre Lacrosse Tournament.

I would like to thank all the volunteers who gave up there weekend to help make this a sucess without you we wouldn't be able to do all the extras like raffle tables, 50/50 and the Beer Gardens.

I would also like to thank all the sponsers we had this year, without you we wouldn't have been able to raise money for Mental Health and Suicide Awareness.

I would also like thank the Referee's who attended
